This week the girls faced the true nature of the competition and adjusting to life in the top model house without Precious was hard. However, there was little time for regret, with the second photoshoot coming just hours after Precious left the house. The photo shoot this week required the girls to dress and pose in a way that best embodied a particular career. Jackson drew the girls names out of a hat and they were each able to choose a career from the costumes laid out before them. First up was Venus who chose to be a firefighter. The last to choose was Brittney who was left with the career Bunny Mascot.

This week the girls were required to compete in a runway challenge. The theme was “tropical paradise” and the girls were dressed in bodysuits, which allowed the judges to see exactly how the girls moved.

Brittney flourished under pressure and was crowned the winner of the runway challenge. As a reward she was given a private lesson with Jackson Jones on posing for photo shoots.

The next day the girls were faced with the second elimination of the competition.
The judges decided that the strongest photos belonged to Candice, Michele and Brittney and that the weakest photos belonged to Chloe and Venus. Candice’s photo was praised for its originality and the judges all agreed that Candice had the most unique take on her costume. They also praised Candice’s ability to remain in the top three, two weeks running. On the other hand, the judges praised Brittney for really embracing her persona and truly getting into character. They were also happy that Brittney had improved on her photos from last week. Michele was praised for her ability to model through her eyes. They felt that the emotion she embodied in her eyes really helped her to communicate with the viewer. The judges criticised Chloe’s awkward posture again and continued to worry that she would never learn to love her gangly body. They felt that her photo lacked creativity and criticised the fact that because her eyes were not visible, there was no connection to the viewer. Venus was also criticised for her awkward posing and the judges were disappointed that Venus didn’t embrace the benefits of having the first choice for her costume.
